What is Babywear Exchange?
Babywear Exchange is a place where you can browse and buy from a wide selection of new and second hand baby clothes and childrens clothes. You can also sell your outgrown and unwanted babywear and childrenswear for free.

How do I use this site and what does it cost?
To buy or sell baby clothes on this site, you need to create a free account. Don't worry - there really are NO costs involved and you won't receive any mailings from us unless you join our Yahoo Group! Please click here to create your free account.

How much does postage cost?
Some sellers on Babywear Exchange include postage in the price of the item.  When that’s the case, you’ll see “Postage included in price” beneath the price

Other sellers prefer to calculate postage based on the weight of the items being purchased.  To find out what the postage charge might be, you can simply add the required items to your basket and ‘checkout’, selecting the option to “request a total cost including delivery”.  You *aren't* committing to purchase by doing that, so if you aren’t happy with the postage quote that comes back, you can simply walk away!

Alternatively, if you’d rather avoid the checkout process for now, you can click on the seller’s username and you’ll be able to send a message to ask what the postage would be.  You’ll have to be logged in first to send a message, but registration is quick and free – go to the registration page.

I'm missing all or part of my order
You should contact the seller directly using the contact details they supplied when sending your invoice. If you are unable to resolve the issue in that way, you should contact the customer services department of whichever company you used to make payment (e.g. Paypal).

How do I enable cookies? / Why isn't the shopping basket working?
We use "cookies" to provide the functionality of the shopping basket. Cookies are small files stored on your computer containing details of the products you wish to order - we do not use these cookies to track your internet activity or to store ANY identifyable information about you. To enable Babywear Exchange cookies in Internet Explorer, go to the Tools menu and select Internet Options. Go to the Privacy tab and select Sites. Enter www.babywearexchange.com and select Allow. You may have to close your browser and open it again for the changes to take place.

How do I know if the clothes I am buying are new or nearly new?
On the product listing page, each garment will have either a 'Brand New' or 'Nearly New' graphic next to the price. On each garment's full details page, each has its condition listed as 'New' or 'Nearly New'.

Which payment methods do you accept?
Accepted payment methods vary from seller to seller. When you are viewing an item for sale, you will see a highlighted area on the right hand side of the page, which details which payment methods are offered by the seller of the item.

How can I sell my unwanted baby clothes?

How can I delete an item?
You can delete an item by:
1) Login to your account
2) Click “My Listings” on left hand menu
3) Click on the item ID to open the edit screen
4) Change the item status to ‘Archive’ (this is in a drop-down menu near the bottom of the edit page)
5) Click Submit
6) You’ll be taken back to your listings screen and the item will now have an [x] next to it. Click the [x] to delete the item.

I've forgotten my seller login details
If you can remember your registered email address, go here to have your password re-sent to you. If you can't remember your registered email address, or you don't have access to that email account anymore, please contact mail@babywearexchange.com with your name, address and telephone number.
