About Us

Babywear Exchange was set up in 2006 by a new mum who recognised how quickly children grow out of their clothes and how expensive new clothes can be! Like most babies, her son had grown out of newborn size before he'd even had the chance to wear many of the beautiful outfits that had been bought for him.

So, Babywear Exchange was launched as a way for parents to get back some of the money spent on babywear and children's clothes they no longer need and to allow them to purchase a wide range of new and nearly new clothes at great discount prices! We also have a Yahoo Group, where members can advertise larger items for sale, such as cots, prams and toys.

Babywear Exchange works on "word of mouth". The more people there are visiting the site and selling on the site, the more choice everyone will have and the more likely it'll be that your clothes will sell quickly. So, please be sure to tell all your friends! You may also like to download our flyer and print it off to display at your baby & toddler meetings, nurseries etc.
